Call for Speakers

We looking for speakers to share their knowledge, skill, experience and stories with our welcoming community at WordCamp US, December 2 & 3, 2016. We want speakers from any location in the World throughout the WordPress Community and beyond.

Presentations will be a mix of 30-minute sessions and 10-minute lightning talks.

WordPress and Beyond

WordPress has empowered people with stories to tell to communicate their content to the masses. We want to hear your story: bloggers, website content managers, designers, consultants, educators, developers and anyone who has used WordPress in interesting, innovative and significant ways.

We also want to hear voices from outside the WordPress community. If you work on other Open Source projects or web design and development in general and think the WordPress community could benefit from your story we want it told at WCUS. Accessibility, User Experience, web content strategy, design, diversity, business, community — we want to offer a wide-range of talks that folks from all walks of life can learn from.

Tips for a Great Speaker Application

  • Enter a detailed presentation description. Descriptions that are vague or incomplete may not be considered.
  • Please do not include notes to the organizers in your presentation description. We’ll have a separate field for notes if you need to send us a message.
  • Please do not submit a presentation that is already on WordPress.tv or you have given previously in the greater Philadelphia region.
